Canadian rock star Bryan Adams (“Summer of ’69”) has apologized for his controversial comments about the spread of the corona virus. The 60-year-old wrote on Instagram yesterday (local time), asking everyone for forgiveness who felt hurt by his previous day’s publication.
“No excuse, I just wanted to rant about this horrific cruelty to animals in these wet markets and promote veganism,” he wrote. His thoughts are with all those who have to do with the pandemic.
On Monday, Adams posted a video playing his song “Cuts Like A Knife”. Regarding the pandemic cancellation of his shows at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the musician wrote that the whole world was just put on hold just because there were greedy virus-making bastards who sold and ate bats at wet markets. He recommends that you become vegan. Many users criticized the statements as racist and disappointing.
