Broken Egg, Covid-19’s First Positive Case in Sitaro, District Government Direct Action

TRIBUNMANADO.CO.ID, MANADO – After months without a positive confirmed case of Covid-19, finally on Sunday (6/28/2020), the Sitaro Islands District, broke the egg.

Because there is one positive confirmed case that is a woman aged 60 years.

The head of the Sitaro Islands Regency Covid-19 task force team, Evangelian Sasingen, when confirmed on Sunday (6/28/2020) said that he immediately took swift action in following up on the positive confirmed case.

“On Friday, we immediately carried out tracing to people who had contact with those concerned, including family and neighbors,” he said.

He said in the tracking, there were about 15 people who were examined and swab samples that had been sent on Friday (6/26/2029).

“We have also taken swift action to quarantine 5 families consisting of 12 people, in order to prevent contact with others,” he said.

The 12 people, Sasingen added, their needs are also guaranteed by the social service, until they are declared safe.

While the spokesperson for the Svido Islands District Covid-19 task force, Dr. Samuel Raule said he was known to be a high mobility traveler between Manado-Siau.

“The possibility is concerned exposed in Manado. At present the patient is already in Malalayang Hospital, to get treatment,” he said. (from)
