On Tuesday, a school in Kristiansand states that two students who were to be quarantined had been sent to school.
The children, who are both related, came home to Norway last week after a holiday abroad. It was a teacher who discovered that the children had recently stayed in a “red” country.
The two were at school half a day before the quarantine breach was discovered.
– I expect that parents will be strongly informed that this should not be done. It is, of course, completely unforgivable to break the quarantine obligation. But one can probably say “that done is done and eaten is eaten”, and I do not expect this to happen again, says municipal chief Dagfinn Haarr to Fædrelandsvennen.
Both children must be symptom-free.
