Of Friday 12 to Sunday 21 May 2023, it’s here Brittany Day ! Fest-noz, concerts, entertainmentNews Rennes summarizes the program of this event which allows to celebrate the most beautiful region of the world.

Reindeer

  • Friday May 12: Fest-noz at Mod Koz with the Daniélo / Droual duo and the Folaod group at 8:30 p.m. (Free).
  • Saturday May 13: When women make the world dance – DJ Wonderbraz. The Free Fields at 10:30 p.m.
  • Sunday 14 May: Tremplin Morgane (dance music competition open to all). The winning group / duo will perform on the Yaouank stage in 2023. Bar Ty Anna from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday May 19: Concert by the Neizh group at the Maison Bleue at 8:30 p.m. (€5- click here to book).

In Bruz

  • Tuesday May 16: opening night with Erwan Menguy Quartet in concert at 8:30 p.m. at the Grand Logis (free concert at the corner of the bar. All public. Limited places)
  • Wednesday 17 May: introduction to the art of embroidery for 8-10 year olds (from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Médiathèque de Bruz, on registration on 02 99 05 30 60); Kan Ha Dudi Celtic concert at 3 p.m. (duration 1 hour 15 minutes at the Media Library, suitable for 6 to 12 year olds, on registration on 02 99 05 30 60) and Aperitif-quiz at the Pignom at 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday May 19: Journey through storytelling at 2.30 p.m. at the Résidence Les Girandières Seniors and at 4.15 p.m. at the Résidence Les Bruyères. (duration 1 hour, free access, reservation recommended with the Vie Associative: 02 23 50 30 07)
  • Saturday 20 May: introduction to the art of embroidery for 8-10 year olds (from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Médiathèque de Bruz, on registration on 02 99 05 30 60); Bruz and his mystery photos (from 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the Media Library); festive afternoon from 2 p.m. at the Plaine Yann-Fañch Kemener (all public, free access and snack bar and catering on site) and Fest Noz at 7:30 p.m. (Espace Vau Gaillard).

In Cesson-Sevigne

Saturday May 13, partnership with the associations La Bouèze and Dastum Bretagne, Tiez Breiz organizes a square pilary – bal trad’ on the occasion of the Fête de la Bretagne. This party will create a clay floor thanks to the steps of the dancers at La Grande Frinière.

  • 2:30 p.m.: opening of the bilingual Gallo-French exhibition on the rehabilitation of old buildings and educational workshops dedicated to raw earth construction.
  • 3 p.m.: conference on collecting heritage with Vincent Morel (Dastum), Philippe Bardel (Ecomusée de la Bintinais), Thérèse Dufour (collector), Pierrick Cordonnier (collector and accordionist)
  • 4 p.m.: Snack at the farm
  • 6 p.m.: Family ball / introduction to dance with Le P’tit bal des queniaos
  • 7 p.m.: Pilerie de pleasure – Trad ball

Price for the event in Cesson-Sévigné. Full price: 7 euros. Reduced rate (under 18 and over 12): €5. Free for people with disabilities and an accompanying person and children under 12. Catering and refreshments on site from 4 p.m.
