“You have to think what happened to me when I was under guardianship and how hard I’ve been working every day to be a better person since that’s over,” writes Britney. The singer is not tender to the media in the message. For example, she calls “TMZ’s efforts an attempt at the most trashy to be medium”. “These people, who I have no idea who they are, write things about me like they have a right to.”

“The media has always been cruel to me,” the singer continues. “Most people might not respond to this, but I think some people believe stories in the media and I do care.” For example, ‘TMZ’ recently claimed that the marriage of Britney and her husband Sam Asghari would be on the verge of collapse.

Spears had a major nervous breakdown in 2007, after which she was placed under full guardianship of her father Jamie a year later. At the end of 2021, that guardianship came to an end. On Instagram, the singer has already expressed herself several times about her father’s thirteen-year reign. “I felt so weak. I will always be traumatized by my past. Not a day goes by that I don’t feel bitter because they all got away with it.” That guardianship was also extensively discussed in the media.
