Bringing science and policy together to accelerate the transformation of food systems

In order to transform our food systems and ensure their contribution to the 2030 Agenda, progress is urgently needed both in terms of applicable scientific knowledge and in terms of political action. This also leads us to wonder about the interface mechanisms between science and politics.
By expressing different perspectives, this high-level event will stimulate dialogue with a view to agreeing on a common trajectory and acting together for healthy and sustainable food systems.
By pragmatically exploring the latest scientific and political advances, it will fuel the debate both on the targets towards which we should focus our combined efforts and on the means to strengthen science-policy links in preparation for the United Nations Summit on Food Systems and its suites.
