Brilliant Labs, a company at the forefront of AI technology, has recently unveiled their latest innovation: Frame AI Glasses. Brilliant Labs has designed Frame to be accessible to most people. Weighing just under 40g, the device is lightweight and comfortable to wear. The glasses are open-source, with design files and code available on Github. However, it’s important to note that Frame is designed for an IPD (inter-pupillary distance) range of 58-72mm, which may not cover all individuals. Pre-orders for Frame are currently open, with shipping expected to begin in April. The glasses are available in three colors: Smokey Black, Cool Grey, and H20 (clear). To pair with your smartphone, Brilliant Labs has developed the Noa app, which also works with their other product, the Monocle.
While the initial purchase of Frame includes AI services with a daily limit, Brilliant Labs has hinted at the possibility of a paid subscription in the future.
