Brighton take a break and complicate Southampton

Brighton (16th) scored three valuable points in their fight for salvation by winning 2-1 at Southampton (14th) this Sunday in matchday 28 of the Premier League.

Lewis Dunk (minute 16) and Belgian Leandro Trossard (56) signed the goals for Brighton. In 27 he had provisionally equaled for Southampton Che Adams.

With this victory, Brighton added 29 points and distanced three points from the relegation zone, marked by Fulham (18th), defeated 3-0 at home on Saturday by leaders Manchester City.

Brighton had not won since early February, when they beat Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield, and had lost their last three league games.

For their part, Southampton are getting more and more complicated in the standings.

He is fourteenth, still seven points above the relegation zone, but he has lost four of his last five Premier League games and his dynamics are worrying.
