BOLASPORT.COM – Former Indonesian U-19 national team player, Muhammad Iqbal, officially joined the third caste club South Korean League, Cheongju FC.

As a graduate of the Indonesian U-19 national team in the era of Indra Sjafri, a name Muhammad Iqbal maybe not as famous as Syahrian Abhimanyu or Lutfi Kamal.

Understandably, while participating in the preparation for the 2018 U-19 AFF Cup, Iqbal actually suffered an injury which caused him to be dropped from the Garuda Nusantara squad.

At that time he suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury which made him have to go on the operating table and take a long break until he was forced to pass the 2018 U-19 AFF Cup.

However, the injury and dropping did not end Iqbal’s career as a midfielder.

After playing in Liga 2 with PSMS Medan in 2019, Iqbal continued his career abroad by joining the second caste club of the Indian League, AU Rajasthan, in early 2020.

Iqbal’s career abroad continues until he is now officially part of the South Korean League’s third caste club, Cheongju FC.

This certainty is known through uploads on the club’s official Instagram account on Saturday (8/5/2021).
