Former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is as responsible for the conflict in Ukraine as his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, AFP reported.
In an interview with the American magazine Time, published today, Lula Da Silva said: “I see that the Ukrainian president is applauded by all parliaments around the world, where his deputies are on their feet. But this guy is as responsible as Putin “There is never a single culprit in a war.”
“He wanted the war. If he didn’t want it, he would have negotiated a little more,” Lula da Silva told Zelenski.
The former president of Brazil also considers Zelensky’s behavior strange. “One would say that he is part of a show. He also criticized US President Joe Biden, who he said had not made the right decision about the conflict in Ukraine. “The United States has a lot of weight and could avoid this conflict. The former Brazilian president also criticized the UN. “There is an urgent need to create a new world government. The UN is nothing more. Leaders do not take it seriously. Putin invades Ukraine unilaterally without consulting the UN,” Lula da Silva added.
