TASS, December 23. Brazilian defender of the St. Petersburg football club Zenit Robert Renan may move to Real Madrid. This was reported by AS.
Real Madrid are reportedly looking for an inexpensive defender to replace injured Brazilian Eder Militao. At the same time, the Spanish grandee sees Renan’s advantages – age and relatively low market value.
Earlier, the Brazilian portal Globo wrote that Renan’s services are of interest to London’s West Ham and his former club, Corinthians. At the same time, the authors of the note indicated that Corinthians could be involved in deals regarding Renan as a transit point between Zenit and the European team.
Renan is 20 years old and moved to Zenit in January 2023. He played 18 matches for the St. Petersburg team and was not effective. With Zenit, Renan became the champion of Russia and the winner of the country’s Super Cup. The defender previously played for Corinthians; he appeared on the field in 13 matches for the main team and scored an assist.
