Maksvytis had to spend more than a day in Boston and wait for the next flight. “It simply came to our notice then. Many people who had to fly to Florida got stuck at the airport, canceling not only our flight but also other flights to Orlando and Miami that day. Later, other colleagues wrote to me that about 3,000 flights to Florida were canceled that day in America, ”said K. Maksvytis about the adjusted travel plans.
