This year, the 26th year of the traditional event took place for the first time in the open air in the parking lot in front of the Olympia shopping center in Brno. The organizers decided to take this step after not being able to hold a competition in the traditional winter term in the hall in the last two years due to a coronavirus pandemic.

Mahuchich jumped 203 cm on the first attempt and fell one centimeter behind her personal maximum from the Doha World Championships in 2019, where she won silver with a performance of 204 cm and set a junior world record. Her current maximum from the Diamond League in Paris so far was 201 cm.

Behind the 20-year-old Ukrainian star, her compatriot and two of this year’s tables, Iryna Geraščenková, finished in second place in Brno, jumping 197 cm.
