Janez Brajkovic has criticized the organization of the Slovenian National Time Trial Championship. On Twitter he questions the fact that no corona measures were taken.
“It is great that we have cycling races in Slovenia again,” Brajkovic says in his positive message. “But it would at least be appropriate to take some security measures: they weren’t there now.”
The UCI recently launched the corona protocol that allows spectators to compete. The protocol also states that national laws and guidelines are leading for any measures. Footage from the stage ceremony shows that the audience does not have to keep their distance and that Primoz Roglic shakes hands with number three Jan Polanc.
