JAKARTA – Braid, one of the best indie games of all time, will be available in Braid: Anniversary Edition on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC and Netflix on April 30 2024.
Additionally, the new release date for Braid: Anniversary Edition appears alongside gameplay footage from developer Jonathan Blow’s official YouTube channel.

Braid is a puzzle platform game originally released in August 2008 by designer Jonathan Blow at the height of the Xbox 360’s Xbox Live Arcade service. The gameplay revolves around an interesting time manipulation mechanic that players use to progress.
The focus of the new trailer showcases the graphical improvements made in Braid: Anniversary Edition over its original release in 2008. More interestingly, the visuals for the game have been “hand-painted” by artist David Hellman, who also worked on the original game.
The trailer also showcases other aspects of the game that have been improved for the upcoming release, including sound improvements, as well as a mix of the game’s original soundtrack.
Braid: Anniversary Edition will also feature track comments, which is set to display over 15 hours of developer comments.
The game was originally announced in 2020, and was planned to be released in 2022. However, at that time the game experienced quite a long delay, until it was finally announced that it would be released next year.
