FAJAR.CO.ID, BEKASI — Persija Jakarta managed to win temporarily 3-1 from Bhayangkara FC in the first round.
Playing at the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, West Java, Sunday (16/7/2023), the Kemayoran Tigers immediately applied pressure.
However, it was Bhayangkara who scored first. Bhayangkara attacker Crislan managed to break into Andritani’s goal in the 6th minute.
Left behind, Persija immediately confined Bhayangkara’s back line.
This proved successful, Persija managed to equalize through Riko Simanjuntak’s goal in the 15th minute.
Three minutes later, Persija actually managed to turn things around.
Ryo Matsumura who was violated in the penalty box made the referee point to the spot in the 18th minute.
