Boy (10) died after heavy rain drags him into canal | Abroad

The boy was dragged into the water Monday evening. Two men (34 and 37) jumped after the boy in an attempt to save him, but were also dragged along. Authorities have not yet released any information about the identity of the victims, but witnesses say they were the boy’s father and another relative.

The boy’s body was later found in a nearby river. “This is a terrible day,” said fire chief Aaron Lipski. “But it won’t be as terrible for anyone as it is for the boy’s family.”
