fans of Botafogo During the early hours of the morning, they spread banners on the Yellow Line and on the outskirts of the North sector of the Nilton Santos Stadium with words of demand and encouragement for the team aiming for the confrontation against the Aurorathis Wednesday, by Libertadores.
Fan Henrique Mendes posted some images of the banners on social media, with sayings such as “Honour this shirt”, “Fight for us”, “More or less is no use”, “Botafogo is not a place for cowards” and “Forget 2023, play 2024!”
The Nilton Santos Stadium should receive an audience of around 25 thousand fans – 20 thousand tickets were sold in advance, according to what was released by the club this Tuesday. Botafogo needs to win to qualify, after the 1-1 draw in the first leg, in Bolivia.
