Bosz steams through with Leverkusen and sees competitor Leipzig spill | NOW

Peter Bosz has booked a new victory on Saturday with Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. ‘Die Werkself’ won at home 4-0 against Eintracht Frankfurt. Competitor RB Leipzig dropped points at VfL Wolfsburg at the same time.

At Leverkusen-Frankfurt it was already 2-0 halfway thanks to Kai Havertz and Karim Bellarabi. In the second half, Paulinho further increased the score with two goals. Daley Sinkgraven stayed on the couch at the home club, while Bas Dost was missing from the visitors.

Bosz and Leverkusen are working on a strong series: seven of the last nine Bundesliga duels yielded a victory. The club from the west of Germany is currently fourth.

Competitor Leipzig is less in shape, because the number two lost at Wolfsburg van Wout Weghorst for the fifth time in seven duels points: 0-0. Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach will play in the top five later this weekend.

Early goal Klaassen for Werder

Werder Bremen led 0-2 in six minutes thanks to Josh Sargent and Davy Klaassen at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. That was not enough for the victory, because Niklas Stark and Matheus Cunha ensured an equal final score.
