Wall Street stock prices stabilized on Tuesday after a weak start to the year. However, in view of the high ratings and on the day of the important runoff elections for the US Senate in Georgia, the willingness to buy was limited. Even highly unusual sentiment data from the industry did not provide any positive impulses.
The leading index Dow Jones Industrial rose in the first hour of trading by 0.37 percent to 30,336.97 points. For the market-wide S&P 500 it went up 0.47 percent to 3718.17 points and the technology-heavy Nasdaq 100
gained 0.63 percent on 12,774.32 points. On Monday, all three indices had already set records at the beginning, but then clearly slipped into the red./gl7HE
