NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – Driven by the good reporting season, the latest record hunt on the New York stock exchanges continued on Tuesday. After a seven-week dry spell on the Nasdaq 100 it now also recorded the technology-heavy selection index, which rose to just under 15,711 points in front of a group of quarterly figures from large US tech companies. In general, however, the momentum in the New York indices declined noticeably. The Nasdaq index recently gained 0.29 percent to 15,559.49 points.
