We continue to improve the roads in the country. Tomorrow the traffic will be launched in the repaired 10 km section of the Trakia highway between p. Chirpan newspaper and p. Chirpan – East newspaper.
This was announced on Facebook by Prime Minister Boyko Borissov.
The section is part of a total of 16.5 km, which began to be renovated in February. At the beginning of April, the repair of the 6-kilometer route between the connection for the Maritsa Motorway and the Chirpan road junction was completed.
The whole section has improved drainage, new asphalt pavement, guardrails, markings and signs.
Thanks to the builders and engineers who worked without a day off in both directions at the same time to restore traffic in the area.
The repair of the next 23 km of the Trakia Motorway between Chirpan and Stara Zagora will continue tomorrow. Both lanes of the highway will be closed, and detour routes are provided for the convenience of travelers. The renovation should be completed at the beginning of the summer tourist season.
