The next legendary raid boss in Pokémon GO is known. This is how Boreos from the “Forces of Nature” trio comes into play. We tell you how strong the Pokémon will be.
This has been announced: Along with numerous other events in February, Pokémon GO has also announced the new raid boss. The flight Pokémon Boreos replaces Heatran.
When does Boreos come? The legendary Pokémon will appear in the Raids from February 4th at 10 p.m. For us in Germany, it will only be available from February 5, as there are no raids so late.

All information about Boreos – The raid boss will be so useful
These are its values: So that you can assess Boreos first, we show you the values of the legendary Pokémon. The special thing is that Boreos has 2 different shapes.
First the values of the form of incarnation:
- Attack Rating: 266
- Defense Value: 164
- KP value: 188
- Maximum WP: 3345
This is what the values of the animal spirit form look like:
- Attack Rating: 238
- Defense Value: 189
- KP value: 188
- Maximum WP: 3215

How strong is the form of incarnation? This shape becomes the much better shape of Boreos. The attack value of 266 is strong and only a few flying Pokémon are better.
The big disadvantage of Boreos, however, is that it can learn hurricane. This attack is significantly worse than Sky Sweeper, making Boreos worse than Pokémon like Kramshef, Rayquaza or Lavados is.
Numerous trainers are currently hoping that Niantic will make improvements again. So they had some time ago taught the original form of Giratina new attacksso that the Pokémon became really useful.
However, you have to keep in mind that flight Pokémon are generally weaker. At last you needed them against the raid boss Viridium, but other types were usually better.

How strong is the animal spirit shape? This form of Boreos doesn’t get much weaker, but the bottom line is that the incarnation form is stronger. This is due to the higher attack value.
Just like the incarnation form, the animal spirit form also suffers from the bad hurricane attack. If there is no adjustment here, then this Boreos should not be particularly worthwhile.
Which form of Boreos comes first? That is currently not entirely clear. In his announcement, Niantic speaks only of Boreos as a whole. It will show on February 4th which of the two forms will be available.
