Bonucci is more fertile than Messi

Leonardo Bonucci recently scored a brace to help Juventus beat Venice. Bonucci’s tally of goals in the league this season is more than Lionel Messi.

Juventus beat Venezia 2-1 in the Italian League continued at the Allianz Arena, Sunday (1/5/2022) night WIB. Two Bianconeri goals were scored by Bonucci who plays as a defender.

Bonucci has now collected five in the Italian League from 21 appearances. The number of goals is more than Messi (4 goals) who played in Ligue 1 in a Paris Saint-Germain costume.

Bonucci’s slick appearance was like a birthday present. He turned 35 years old on May 1.

“It was the best birthday. When I wore the captain’s armband, there was something extra (felt),” said Bonucci, quoted from the club’s official website.

The win was very important for Juventus. These results make the black and white troops secure Champions League tickets next season.

That’s because a few hours later, AS Roma drew 0-0 with Bologna. Fourth-placed Juventus, 10 points clear of Roma and Lazio outside the top four with the league just three games to go.
