In a new case involving businessman pursued by Japanese authorities, Carlos Ghosn, lawyers for the former chairman of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance demanded in a Dutch court, the release of internal documents related to the dismissal of Ghosn from his position at Nissan and Mitsubishi.

A lawsuit filed in the Netherlands against Nissan and Mitsubishi states that the two companies demobilized Ghosn in a manner inconsistent with Dutch laws, because it did not disclose the details of the allegations.

It is noteworthy that the Nissan-Mitsubishi company, which was also headed by Ghosn, is a registered entity in the Netherlands, which allowed him to bring the case there.

Ghosn’s lawyers expect that the documents will show that the two companies were aware of his activities, denying his accusation of misusing the funds.

Ghosn is seeking $ 17 million in compensation through the case in the Netherlands.
