(…) Bogdan Dumitrescu was born on April 15, 1968 in Onesti. He graduated from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Bucharest, where he was a preparator (1995-1996) at the Department of Comparative Literature.
Before his career in advertising, he worked in the media, starting in 1993, when he was an editor at Pro Fm and Radio Total. He later became the head of the Press Office of the Romanian Cultural Foundation, editor at Tyr International, editor-in-chief at ProTV, specialized referent in the National Audiovisual Council.
He published a book chronicle in Literary Romania, an advertising chronicle in Dilemma, essays, prose in Literary Romania, Dilemma, Dilemateca, Arc, Contemporanul, Contrapunct etc. He is the author of the song Viata lui Max Ionescu, broadcast on Radio Romania Cultural in 2006.
