Boef and Lil Kleine have with their new single Memory broke the record of most streamed track in the Netherlands on the first day after release. The single was listened to more than 846,000 times on Friday.
The record was already in Boef’s name. In July 2020, his single achieved All is well 679,000 streams in one day.
The ultimate day record in the Netherlands is held by Duncan Laurence. On the day after his victory in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019, his hit became Arcade listened to no less than 1.24 million times on Spotify in the Netherlands.
Lil Kleine appears in the single Memory referring to his ex-girlfriend Jaimie Vaes. “Someone else has to ease your pain, because I’m putting you out of my mind,” raps the artist accused of assault by Vaes.
