Both have supporters and opponents on social media. It all started with this video of the incident that gospel singer Bobbi Storm posted on TikTok. Just before takeoff, she proudly tells fellow passengers that she has just learned that she and her group have been nominated for two Grammy Awards, which are an important music award.
There is some applause and when she indicates that she wants to sing, a steward orders her to be quiet.
The above video of her arguing with the steward is four minutes long. When the steward leaves, she quietly sings her song ‘We Can’t Forget Him’ and no one intervenes. The singer reacts outraged about the incident on TikTok. “At the end of a flight, everyone is talking on the phone, we’re talking to our neighbors, sometimes we’re shouting across the plane, so what’s the problem with sharing something with other people that I’m proud of?”
Follow instructions
The New York Times, die writes about the incident, asked those involved for a response, but they heard nothing from the singer and her group. Delta did respond in writing: “For the safety of our customers and crew, it is always important to follow crew instructions,” the statement said.
