jpnn.com, LEMBANG – Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Bandung Geophysics Station observed a lunar eclipse in the tourist area of ​​Lembang, West Bandung Regency, West Java, Wednesday (26/5).

Head of the Bandung Geophysical Station BMKG Teguh Rahayu said the lunar eclipse had entered its first phase at 15:46 WIB. However, he said, in the first phase of a lunar eclipse or Super Blood Moon have not been seen.

“In the first phase, the ones that can see is the eastern region, because we are still bright here and the sun is visible,” said Rahayu at the observation location.

According to him, observations were made using binoculars which were directly connected to the camera. The observation process is also broadcast live using a screen and can also be watched online on the official BMKG website.

Rahayu said that the total lunar eclipse in Bandung will occur at 18.18 WIB. He also predicted that the eclipse could be seen because of the clear weather.

“Until now, the conditions are very bright. If conditions are still like this, God willing, we can see the peak of the eclipse, “said Rahayu.

The peak phase of the total lunar eclipse will last for 10 minutes. The public, he said, could directly see the total lunar eclipse.
