While leisure activities resume very gradually with the deconfinement, the French dream of holidays and rest by the water, for a summer that promises to be predominantly in France. In this perspective, the Blue Flag label, which celebrates its 35th anniversary this year, still reassures families and tourists. It is awarded this Tuesday to 401 beaches in 188 municipalities and 106 marinas.
The Blue Flag takes into account several criteria : the quality of bathing water of course, but also the management of water and waste on the site, the cleanliness of the beaches, a policy of prevention and limitation of green algae, environmental education or still accessibility for people with reduced mobility.
