To replenish the fragile reserves which make it possible to treat a million patients each year, the EFS is launching a new call for blood donation, today, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Marcel-Paul room, rue de Verdun. A simple, united and useful gesture.
Blood products have a short shelf life and reserves must be regularly built up throughout the year to deal with emergency situations (hemorrhage during childbirth, accident, surgery) . All blood groups are concerned and useful.
To know to donate blood: be between 18 and 70 years old and weigh at least 50 kg; do not come on an empty stomach; stay well hydrated; bring an identity document for a first donation; allow one hour in total to make a whole blood donation; fifteen minutes of sampling.
