After the craze for blood donations in 2020, Serge Fresquet, vice-president of the Amicale des donors de sang, notes that in 2021, the mobilization of donors has declined and even tends to stagnate over the collections. Despite this unexplained trend, he is keen to “thank the 73 donors, including 8 new donors, who made this voluntary and civic gesture that blood donation on Monday, September 13th”.
And to specify: “This generosity makes it possible to treat the sick and intervene in emergency aid; 10,000 bags are needed every day”.
The next collection will take place on Monday, November 15, at the Claude-Nougaro room.
