Thanks to the new Observer System Redux trailer, we can see how well the new generation is doing to this remaster.
We still have almost nothing confirmed about the new generation consoles. We do not know the exact date, price or especially titles that accompany its launch. What does seem clear is that at least visually the jump will be noticeable. So that we can see for ourselves, they have released a wonderful video in which they compare the technical advances that their work is receiving, with what has already been seen previously. And the truth is that the result could not be more hopeful.
As I imagine you have already seen in this preview, the graphic jump is more than evident. Implementation of HDR, 4K as native resolution, the much desired 60 frames per second and of course the much vaunted by all, ray tracing. All this together with enormous improvements in terms of its textures and effects. Come on, what the body asks of us and we wait for the next PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. And all this in a title that is a remastering, so in games created specifically for new platforms the result can be even greater.
The launch date for Observer System Redux has not yet been revealed, but it seems certain that it will arrive before the end of this year 2020. Of course, it will arrive at the same time as the new consoles or something later, is yet to be seen.
