Asphalting work is being carried out at the Wiesentheid junction as part of the six-lane widening of the A3 motorway between the Biebelried and Fürth/Erlangen motorway junctions, according to a press release from A3 Nordbayern GmbH & Co. KG. For this purpose, the entrance and exit at the Wiesentheid junction in the direction of travel to Frankfurt am Main must be completely closed from May 23, around 7 a.m., until probably around May 25, around 6 p.m.
Road users who are traveling on the A3 in the direction of Frankfurt/Main with the destination Wiesentheid are guided via the Geiselwind junction via the U 92 required diversion in the direction of Wiesentheid. Those who want to drive in the direction of Frankfurt/Main will be forwarded via the U94 to the Kitzingen-Schwarzach junction. The diversions are signposted.
