Blizzard brings together its entire global community for its BlizzConline this February 19 and 20

The champions of Azeroth, the defenders of sanctuary and the Sector Koprulu next to the heroes of Overwatch and the Nexus are invited to a virtual celebration of community and creativity, 30 years of gaming Blizzard and epic adventures to come. All this and more was released through a statement dedicated to the BlizzConline, that will take place on February 19 and 20 in BlizzCon.com, being a virtual show totally FREE.

BlizzConline is a community event and a fully digital display of the entire Blizzard universe. Players from all over the world will be able to meet online while the situation does not allow us to meet in the real world. For two consecutive days and six programming channels, Blizzard developers will share the latest game news, and cosplayers, artists, and improvised murlocs will share their talents at events such as the Community Showcase. Also, in February, Blizzard celebrates its 30th anniversary, and players around the world will have the opportunity to commemorate three decades of exploring epic universes and games together as they prepare for the future adventures of their friends, guildmates and allies.

“We couldn’t let so much time go by without connecting with our community like we always do at BlizzCon. That’s what this show is all about: getting together with our friends from all over the world and celebrating the bonds and experiences we share through games ”commented J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment. “We are also very excited to share a little about the work that the different teams have been doing. Although this will not be the usual BlizzCon, the completely online format gives us the possibility of giving a drastic change to the proposal and create a show designed specifically to enjoy from home”.

Itinerary

The first day of BlizzConline begins at 2 pm PST on Friday, February 19 with an opening segment that includes a first look at the latest content for some games currently in development. Then, for the next three hours or so, players can tune in to one of six different theme channels to dig deeper into the games that interest them most.

The second day activities will resume at 12 pm PST on Saturday, February 20, again with several channels until the culmination of the event during the afternoon. On this day, Blizzard will answer questions and celebrate the global community of gamers, including the winners and highlights of the Community Showcase cosplay, movie, talent and art competitions and exhibitions.

Players who miss an event stream will be able to watch it after it goes live (also free) in the BlizzConline video archive. In the weeks leading up to the celebration, a detailed schedule of events and segments will be posted.

Celebration packages

In addition to the anniversary festivities taking place during BlizzConline, a variety of commemorative gifts will be available starting today to help you celebrate this epic moment in your favorite Blizzard games during BlizzConline and beyond. Players can now choose one of the three celebration collections in the blizzard store :

• Essential package: You can get the Moon-Touched Netherworld pet to World of Warcraft, heroin Tracer and his mount OSV-03 Rogue for Heroes of the Storm, a gamer icon and spray for Overwatch (coming soon), a set of portraits for StarCraft (coming soon) and a pet and portrait for Diablo III (PC version; coming soon). Also includes 10 Darkmoon Faire Madness Card Packs for Hearthstone, 5 Loot Boxes for Overwatch, and a code with a 15% discount for a purchase in the Blizzard Gear Store (restrictions apply).

• Heroic Pack: You can purchase this bundle to add the Snowstorm Bear Mount to your WoW collection, and deal out blows with the legendary “Raynhardt”On Overwatch (coming soon). In addition to following a random Legendary card from Madness in Darkmoon Faire for Hearthstone, and equipping yourself with decorative wings in Diablo III (PC version; coming soon).

• Epic Pack: This bundle includes everything from the Heroic Pack and five Darkmoon Faire Madness gold card packs, containing only gold cards, three gold Overwatch loot boxes, each with a guaranteed legendary item, 30 days of time game for World of Warcraft, and a set of transmog items for Diablo III (PC version; coming soon).
