There is absolutely no evidence that the Kremlin is capable of real negotiations to end the aggression against Ukraine. The US Secretary of State said Anthony Blinken at a press conference in Uzbekistan, writes Voice of America.

Blinken was asked about the possibility of peace talks between Ukraine and Russia. The Secretary of State replied that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putinaccording to his observations, is not ready for real negotiations.
“On the contrary, there are clear indications to the contrary,” Blinken said.
“Just listen to what Putin is saying. He says there is no point in entering into negotiations until Ukraine recognizes the ‘new territorial reality,'” the Secretary of State recalled.
“In other words, until Ukraine admits that Russia has seized its territories forever, they won’t talk,” Blinken said. He also stressed that such an approach is in principle unacceptable.
- On February 28, Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said that if the Russian occupiers were expelled from Ukraine, negotiations would no longer be needed.
