Blaise Matuidi (35) has decided to end his professional football career. He was part of the French team that won the World Cup in 2018.

Matuidi last played for Inter Miami in the American MLS, but hasn’t played in the past year. In a video posted on Friday, he clarifies that he’s ending his career.

In 2018, he started as France beat Croatia in the World Cup final. The 35-year-old has played for, among others, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as several clubs from his home country.
