BlackBerry returns to the smartphone market

BlackBerry will try its hand at mobile devices again.

BlackBerry will return to the smartphone market in 2021, presenting users with equipment with a physical keyboard and a modem that allows the use of 5G wireless networks. This time, however, the matter will be different: BlackBerry will only lend its reputation and name, and other brands will take care of the production and development of the smartphone. Among them was FIH Mobile, owned by Foxconn, and OnwardMobility. BlackBerry smartphones are again to focus on security to provide corporate users with the maximum level of convenience and comfort of use.

Initially, the new BlackBerry devices will be available for sale in Europe and North America. At the moment, not much is known about their probable specification: it is very possible that under the housing there will be room for flagship components closed at a quite affordable price.

New devices from BlackBerry are expected to appear on the market in the first half of 2021.
