In yet another partnership with Marvel, the game Fortnite brought a skin from Black Phoenix, Jean Gray from X-Men, this Friday (12). Spoiler: she is beautiful and very powerful! The costume is now available in the Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks, the game’s virtual currency.

In addition to the Black Phoenix costume, the player also takes the Phoenix Force back accessory — a bird with flaming wings — and the Phoenix Wrath loading screen. All items are inspired by the classic look of the character, present in comics from the 1970s and 1980s.

Separately, for 300 V-Bucks, the Ascension of the Phoenix gesture is available, in which the character flies, raises his arms and releases rays of fire.
V-Bucks are sold in specific packages on the Epic Games Store at the following prices:
- 1.000 V-Bucks — R$ 25
- 2.800 V-Bucks — R$ 62
- 5.000 V-Bucks — R$ 98
- 13.500 V-Bucks — R$ 246
This isn’t the first time characters from Marvel and the X-Men franchise have come to the Fortnite: we already had Wolverine, Storm, Mystique and Doctor Fate, for example. Other characters from Marvel, such as Venom, Carnage, Loki and Thanos, have also been present in the game, as well as a special event inspired by the film. Avengers: Endgame.
