BKN Opens Voice on TWK KPK Using Religious Moderation Index

Head of the National Civil Service (BKN) Bima Haria Wibisana mentioned the Religious Moderation Index (IMB) used in the assessment of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) employees.NCP) .

“BKN is not playing around in carrying out this TWK,” Bima said via a short message to CNNIndonesia.com, Thursday (27/5).

Bima explained that the series of assessments used for the anti-corruption agency employees were the same as the tests used in recruiting Indonesian Army soldiers.

According to Bima, the use of the test was jointly decided by a number of institutions involved such as BNPT, AD Pusintel, DisPsiAD, as well as BAIS, and BIN. They include acting as assessors.

According to him, the Religious Moderation Index (IMB 68) test used in the assessment has so far been considered the best insight test at present.

“It was the team who decided, because of the TNI-AD IMB 68 test battery test the best national insight that exists today,” said Bima.

“All of the assessors are competent and legitimate from state institutions,” he added.

Bima’s statement also answered questions from the Director of Inter-Commission and Agency Network Development (PJKAKI) of the KPK, Sujanarko, who previously questioned the validity of the assessment of anti-corruption agency employees.

Koko, as she is known, protested, because BKN only used three of the six tests that should have been used in the assessment.

According to Bima, there are no six components in the KPK’s assessment. Six assessments are only used in the promotion test of ASN officials. In the KPK assessment, he said, there were only three components which included personality, influence, and PUNP (Pancasila, UUD ’45, NKRI, legitimate government).

In a press conference after a coordination meeting with the KPK and a number of other institutions at the BKN office, Tuesday (25/5) he explained that each component has indicators that total 22 indicators. Regarding the personality aspect, there are six indicators, the influence is seven indicators, and PUNP has nine indicators.

“There are no six elements. (There are) three aspects with many indicators. This is about statistics. This is used in the TNI for the recruitment of all members of the TNI AD. Is that not valid?” he added.

However, Bima did not answer explicitly when asked about the reason for the KPK’s assessment using the same test as the test on TNI soldiers. Including allegations, the test was used to get rid of radical groups within the anti-corruption agency.

“Intolerance, radicalism and violence are some aspects that are not in line with Pancasila and the 45 Constitution,” he said.

Previously, 75 KPK employees did not pass the TWK. As many as 51 of them were declared unable to be fostered or fired. The issue of radicalism and ‘Taliban’ arose against those who did not qualify.

Former KPK chairman Busyro Muqoddas dismissed the issue on the grounds that there were a number of non-Muslim employees who did not pass the test. He called the test only to get rid of critical employees.
