“Bill Gates’ proposal is super interesting. The intradermal patch is micro needles that reach that subcutaneous cellular tissue where the vast majority of the defenses are. And that is a project that is very feasible and that can be developed very easily,” he added.

He believed that this patch is probably very small, so that it does not bother children and thus gives a new option to the population.

“The development of vaccines after COVID-19 that has been implemented is very close and it has been a wonderful moment because a large number of vaccines have been deployed to protect against other infections that are already bothering the world’s population. So a very good proposal and I hope it reaches its culmination, a happy ending,” he concluded.
