During the first day of school, children developed corona complaints. It soon turned out that three students were infected. On Tuesday, the school decided in consultation with the GGD that the classes should be quarantined. It is striking that parents had said that the children had been tested in advance.

“It completely took us by surprise,” director Armand van den Eeckhout told NH Nieuws. ,,It is a big downer for the children, the parents and the team. To have to send classes home in what we call the ‘golden weeks’ of the school year is very annoying.”
Students are not allowed to go to school for five days. Then they have to do a test at the GGD. If it turns out negative, they can go back to school. “So if they are lucky, they will be welcome again at school from next Monday,” said the director.
