It shouldn’t have been for ‘Vimi’. Big Brother-residents Dimitri (27) and Vera (26) have separated. That leaves a clearly disappointed Vera on Instagram.

“Just an update. It is indeed over between me and Dimi,” writes the Dutch Vera on Instagram on Sunday afternoon. “I am very sorry that it didn’t work because I honestly thought I had found love. This was not the case unfortunately.” She also thanks all fans of ‘Vimi’, the couple’s name given to the duo. Dimitri also shared Vera’s message on his story.

Vera and Dimitri fell in love at the beginning of this year in the Big Brother-House. The Kampenhoutenaar had to leave the house fairly early, but as soon as Vera was also voted out of the game, they picked up the romance again. The two regularly posted photos of the two of them on social media. Now, a month and a half later, Vimi’s story is over.
Sincere or not
Two weeks ago Dimi was allowed to return to the Big Brother-home for the final week. He then approached ex-resident Kitty about the statements she had made about his relationship with Vera. Kitty had claimed that their love was not genuine, but a play for the viewer. Dimitri then said that he and Vera proved that wrong, because things were going really well between them.
It seems that the two can still go through one door. Saturday evening both, along with a lot of other ex-residents, were in the Sportpaleis for the farewell show of Big Brother-presenter Peter Van de Veire.
