80-year-old US President Joe Biden has successfully had a cancerous mass removed of the skin from the chest in February, his doctor told the media, AFP reported.
The lesion, discovered during a routine medical examination, was a basal cell carcinoma, which “doesn’t tend to ‘spread’ or metastasize,” Biden’s doctor, Kevin O’Connor, said in a statement released by the White House, adding that “no further treatment required”.
