Democratic Party presidential candidate, Joe Biden pocketed a total of five votes owned by Dixville Notch, a small town in New Hampshire.
This city is known to be the first to announce the presidential preference that will be carried out in this election.
The ballots were cast minutes after midnight Tuesday (3/11), becoming the first reports counted on election day.
As is customary there, all voters will first gather at the polling station in Dizville Notch to cast their ballot in secret.
Every vote cast will be counted immediately and the result will be announced.
During the 2016 election, Dixville Notch was won by Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. But then Trump won the vote through the Electoral College system.
In addition to Dixville Notch, the closest small town, Millsfield also opened voting since early Tuesday. In contrast, Trump actually won 16-5 at Millsfield over Biden.
It’s just that, the corona virus pandemic makes not all regions vote in the early hours. The voting of 48 voters in the city of Hart was conducted during the day, in contrast to the previous tradition of counting at midnight.
