Biden doesn’t want a debate next week if Trump still has corona

The next debate between the two is scheduled for October 15. But if it is up to Biden, that will not take place if Trump has not fully recovered from the corona virus by then. He told reporters today.

“I’m not exactly sure about President Trump,” said Biden. “I look forward to debating with him, but I hope all protocols are followed.”

‘Serious problem’

“Too many people have been infected,” added Biden. “That’s a serious problem. I’ll be advised by Cleveland Clinic guidelines and listen to what the doctors say.” At least eighteen people around President Trump have become infected. White House adviser Stephen Miller is the last to test positive on the virus.

Trump’s campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh assured the president will be there at the debate. “President Trump will be healthy and will be present at the debate. There will be no escape for Biden and his protectors in the media cannot resolve this for him.”

Fierce fight

Biden lashed out hard yesterday to President Trump, who returns to the White House immediately took off his mouth mask. “We are going back to work, as your leader I had to do that,” the president said in a video message. “I’m better. Maybe I’m immune. Who knows?”

The Democratic presidential candidate is critical. “You would hope that after going through this, the president will deliver the right message to the American people,” he said in an interview yesterday. He denounces Trump’s attitude: “A thousand Americans die every day. This is an emergency.”
