Everyone is fine in Beyoncé’s family!
The 38-year-old singer’s mother, Tina Lawson, revealed that the whole family has been tested for coronavirus and that all tests have been negative.
Tina – who is also the mother of singer Solange, 33, whom she had with her ex-husband Mathew Knowles – said in the program of the American host Tamron Hall: “We have all been tested. We we got the results and everyone is fine so I hope we can get together for Mother’s Day and have dinner together. I really want to touch them. ”
Tina – who has been married to Richard Lawson since 2015 – has four grandchildren, the eight-year-old daughter of Beyoncé Blue Ivy, two-year-old twins, Sir and Rumi, as well as the 15-year-old son of Solange named Daniel Jr.
The happy grandmother admitted that she finds it difficult to remain confined to her home without seeing her children and grandchildren.
She said, “It makes me sad, especially on Sunday because it’s the day we all get together. So on Sunday morning, I have the blues.”
For the moment, people living in separate dwellings are actually not advised to meet, so as to stop the spread of the coronavirus during the pandemic. A preventative measure that the twins of Beyoncé and Jay Z had trouble understanding, according to Tina, 66 years old.
She recently said, “The two babies don’t really understand, so on Saturday we found ourselves observing a safe distance, we all went to Bey … We were all tested, Kelly [Rowland] was there, and I could see my grandchildren from afar and it was difficult. It was the hardest part [du confinement]. ”
Besides, Beyoncé’s mother shared her parental advice.
She said, “My best advice is that you cannot raise children while having the philosophy of saying,” do what I say, not what I do, “because they [les enfants] watch everything you do. ”
“So the best advice I can give you is to be what you want them to be. Practice what you want them to be.”
