The Oscars shortlists were announced on Tuesday. The shortlist for best original song includes fifteen names, including Beyoncé and Jay-Z. The singer was chosen for the song ‘Be Alive’ which is on the soundtrack of ‘King Richard’, Jay-Z was selected for the song ‘Guns Go Bang’ from ‘Harder They Fall’.

If they both end up on the final nomination list, they will write history. They’ll be the first married couple to compete in one category.
