A recent study has shown that hereditary Alzheimer’s disease is avoidable through certain lifestyles and following medical advice.

The professor of psychology for the elderly at the University of “College London” and study supervisor Gail Livingston, adding 3 new factors to the list of factors causing 40% of Alzheimer’s cases around the world, according to the newspaper “The Guardian” British.

Among the factors that cause Alzheimer’s disease, it is preferred to avoid smoking, climate pollution, exposure to head wounds, low educational level, obesity, and drinking alcohol.

The study stated that exposure to hearing loss, for example, caused 9% of global Alzheimer’s cases, while the low level of education is responsible for 8%, while climate pollution causes 2% of cases, while smoking causes 4% of cases along with the rest of the factors that include diabetes and pressure.

Gail explained that the modification of the lifestyle has a clear tangible effect, as the number of elderly smokers in North America and Europe coincided with the decrease of 15% in Alzheimer’s cases during the past 30 years.

Gail added, “What is required is to change the lifestyles of the elderly in developing countries.” Because they miss that solution because the elderly in developed countries have the ability to easily live in a suitable healthy environment, explaining that it is expected that two-thirds of Alzheimer’s patients from developing countries will only become in 2050.

It is noteworthy that the number of Alzheimer’s patients worldwide reaches 50 million people, with a high expectation that there is no effective treatment for genetic disease.
