A hundred municipal employees mobilized this Sunday to ensure the distribution of masks acquired by the city. 40,000 in total, black or navy blue that the municipality has chosen to distribute in what are usually polling stations.
“It seemed to us to be an effective benchmark for this meeting. People understood that it was a geographical benchmark and nothing else. I observe that despite the difficult weather conditions, many people came and everything is going on calmly, “comments the mayor of Anglet, Claude Olive.
Schools lend for back to school
As many of these polling stations are in schools, the public has been able to draw on the distancing benchmarks already in place in preparation for the start of the school year on Tuesday, May 12. The marking on the ground and the separations in the classes are already effective.
